Our Geriatric Psychiatric Unit is responsible for the treatment and prevention of mental disorders in the elderly. As the population ages, particularly in developing countries, this field is becoming increasingly relevant. The diagnosis, treatment and management of dementia and elderly depression are the two major areas of our focus.
