LIONS Club International Charitable Visit
The district 40482 of the Leadership Intelligence of Our Nations Safety (LIONS) club international visited the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Enugu on 7th November 2025. LIONS club is a non governmental charitable Organization in over 200 countries world wide and with over six districts in Nigeria. The visit was made by the club Deputy Governor, Pastor Ezekiel Umoh ably represented by their past regional governor Lion Nsika Umoh, Regional Chairperson Lioness Vivian Chioma Agubosi and some other members of the club. The aim of their visit to the hospital was to donate bedsheets to various wards in the hospital.
They also discussed with the Medical Director, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Enugu, Dr. Ngozichukwu .N. Unaogu on how they can partner with the hospital. The Medical Director welcomed them and listed some of the challenges in the hospital which includes;-
- Inadequate water supply,
- Problem of food,
- Inadequate power supply and,
- Land scaping which she stated in the hospital’s 2026 budget.
The LIONS club members promised to discuss most of the hospital challenges in their upcoming cabinet meeting so as to profer solutions where necessary.
The Medical Director Dr. Ngozichukwu N. Unaogu with the Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Vincent Ubochi were present during the presentation of the donated bedsheets by the members of the LIONS’s club.
