Our Consultation-Liaison Psychiatric Unit has what it takes to interface between general medicine and psychiatry. The role of the consultation-liaison psychiatrist is to see patients with co-morbid medical conditions on the invitation of the managing medical consultant or team. It has significant areas of overlap with other disciplines such as psychosomatic medicine, health psychology and neuropsychiatry.
